PhD Students Almanach

In the autumn semester of 2022/23, 48 Hungarian and 39 foreign students continue their doctoral studies at the Antal Kerpely Doctoral School of Materials Science and Technology at the Faculty of Materials and Chemical Engineering of the University of  Miskolc. The doctoral school currently provides opportunities for doctoral studies in the following areas:

• Foundry;
• Interface and Nanotechnologies;
• Plastic deformation;
• Physical metallurgy, heat treatment;
• Material Information;
• Space Science and Technology;
• High Temperature Equipments and Thermal Energy Management;
• Ceramics and Technologies;
• Polymertechnology;
• Chemical Processes and Technologies.

The research topics defined in all disciplines related to metals, polymers and ceramics and their composites, as well as to processing and forming technologies, provide a wide range of challenges for all researchers.

In this publication, we provide an overview of the doctoral research currently being carried out at the doctoral school, with a little more insight into the stages of the research and the work of the students.

The annual publication of our publication provides an opportunity to follow the progress of each research project. The publications of the researchers are structured according to the thematic areas indicated above.
